I've noticed people having profile pictures. My question is how to change your profile picture..

To upload a profile picture, go to Profile. Click on Edit Profile, then click on Use Only Uploaded/Link. After that, on the right click Upload/Link. There, you can upload an image. Once you're done, you save the settings.
